DocuWare Ivy
DocuWare Ivy is DocuWare's process automation platform. It is built on the Axon Ivy Platform and shares its process engine, designer and public API, which means the Axon Ivy knowledge your team already has carries over directly.
This section covers what is specific to DocuWare Ivy: how it relates to the platform underneath, what DocuWare adds on top, and where to get help. The rest of this documentation is the platform documentation itself.
Where to start
- Using DocuWare Ivy in the cloud
Cloud covers the hosted service. Start with Getting started in the cloud: the addresses you will use, what each one is for, and what an administrator has to do before anyone can sign in.
- Building processes
Designer installs the Axon Ivy PRO Designer, the Visual Studio Code extension processes are built with, and tests it end to end.
- New to the platform
Work through the Designer Guide, which is the platform documentation and applies to DocuWare Ivy unchanged.
- Operating an engine
Go to the Engine Guide in Axon Ivy's own documentation, and to Install DocuWare Ivy here for everything that differs from a stock installation.
- Installing on-premises
On-Premises Deployment is the whole path: the container on a Linux host with Docker Compose, then published to users through DocuWare's IIS.
